In our world of increased compliance and legislation, being qualified is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity. But, can you say you’re a qualified New Zealand residential property manager? Now you can.

Real iQ has partnered up with The Skills Organisation to deliver the newly revised New Zealand Residential Property Management Level 4 Qualification (NZ RPM Level 4).

Getting qualified in residential property management arms you with the knowledge and tools you need for business success. Our online residential property management courses are easy to use, will help you gain marketable skills, and boost your confidence.

You can choose the level of support you require, with a choice of online tutors, webinars, and in-person workshops available. We have also designed payment structures to cater and fit into any budget no matter what the size.

Our goal is to have the entire industry either qualified or working towards this exciting qualification. We want to improve New Zealand by having more qualified and educated Property Managers, Tenancy Managers and landlords. This way they understand their rights, responsibilities and obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act. Regulation is coming so do not delay and make our industry stronger by getting yourself qualified.

About the qualification

Over the course of 7-12 months you’ll be learning key residential property management skills, such as completing rental appraisal reports, managing tenancy disputes, property management legislation, managing and marketing a residential property, and property inspections. When you successfully complete your course you will be awarded the New Zealand Certificate in Residential Property Management (Level 4).

The NZ RPM Level 4 is made up of 14 unit standards over 4 modules that include a mixture of on the job learning along with theoretical work. Real iQ have decided a variety of options that the trainee can choose from whether it is web based or classroom style learning.
